Swedru, July 15, GNA - Gamba All Blacks beat Visiting Sekondi Eleven Wise 1-0 in their rescheduled 29th Week Glo Premier League match played at the Swedru Sports stadium on Wednesday. The home team started the game on a fast note which earned them the goal through Obed Owusu in the 22nd minute.
The All Blacks striker got a beautiful pass from Danjuma Gafaru and managed to beat three defenders of Wise before displacing keeper Mohammed Alhassan to plant the ball into an empty net. Disaster struck All Blacks when referee Agigo Aziza from Tema showed the red card to central defender, Isaac Osei in the 41st minute for violent play on Wise' Kyei Baffour.
The numerical disadvantage of the home team enabled Wise to increase their attack n the home team but their strikers failed to find the much needed eqauliser.
In the second half, Wise continued to pile on more pressure on the All Blacks team with total dominance due to the absence of the central defender but still failed to convert the few chances that came their way.
Both teams exhausted their substitution but the changes failed to change the score line before referee Aziza brought proceedings to an end. Last Sunday the match between the two sides could not come off and had to be postponed to Wednesday because of lack of adequate security at the stadium.
