‘Game Boy’ unperturbed by Gyan’s absence

Black Stars Captain and bankroller of Baby Jet Boxing Promotions and Syndicate, Asamoah Gyan won’t be available to watch Emmanuel Tagoe take on Filipino boxer, Joebert Reyes, Sportcrusader.com can exclusively reveal.

Gyan will be on duty for his club side, Al Ain, who are bent on winning the Asian Pro League as well as the Asian Champions League.

This will be a big blow to Game Boy Tagoe ahead of his epic encounter against Joebert Reyes for the vacant WBA International Lightweight Champion at the Tennis Court of the Accra Sports Stadium.

The tough-talking boxer says Gyan’s absence won’t affect his chances against the Filipino boxer.

He told sportscrusader.com that “I wish he will be around, but if he is or cannot be around that will be fine with me, all that I know is that I am going into the ring as a wounded lion.

And I will make sure I deal with my opponent ruthlessly, he cannot face me one day because I know my worth”.
