Gawu Back To Hearts

THE HOPE and aspiration of King Faisal talisman Eric Gawu to join the bandwagon of professional players to the Mediterranean, has run into a brick wall, POWER SPORTS can stage emphatically today.

This could automatically mean that the player may have to revert to Hearts of Oak for the special reasons that the transfer window was shut in his face, when he got to his destination.

Already, Faisal authorities are blaming Hearts? authorities for influencing the Immigration Service officials to delay the lad?s travel, which would have fetched a whooping $100,000 over a four month period. Even before Gawu emplaned to the Mediterranean country, the phobians had advanced some cash payments to him, but were yet to offset the ?600 million Faisal were demanding.

Instead, the phobians showed up with banker?s draft rather than hard-earned cash which compelled his club to jump to a last-minute contract deal that has now back fired.

Hearts officials claim the lad is on his way to the club to help beef it up for both continental and domestic assignments signed for this year.
