Gemma Acheampong thrilled to make 2nd Commonwealth Games appearance

Ghanaian sprinter Gemma Acheampong is elated to be making her second appearance in the Commonwealth Games.

The 25-year-old has been selected as part of Ghana’s relay team to compete in the global event in Australia (Gold Coast) next Month.

Acheampong together with Janet Amponsah, Flings Owusu Acheampong and Beatrice Gyaman will be representing the country in the Women’s 4X100 relay.

The US-based Athlete is thrilled to be making yet another appearance at the big stage for her native country.

She currently holds the Ghanaian record in the rarely-contested indoor 300 metres event and represented the country at the last Olympics in Rio.
