Experienced football administrator, George Amoako is set to be appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for King Faisal Football Club.

The administrator has worked within the football circles for years where he has served under different regimes at Asante Kotoko.

He worked for the Porcupine Warriors for the past 2 years before he was recently relieved of his post by the club’s new board of directors who have been appointed by Manhyia to serve as the highest decision making body of the club.

Having lost that job last month, George Amoako is set to land another one with King Faisal chasing after his services.

"Immediate past Asante Kotoko C.E.O Mr. George Amoako will join King Faisal FC as the club's new CEO for the next season campaign. Talks are ongoing and I can tell you he will join us very soon," owner of King Faisal, Alhaji Grunsah told Kumasi based Ashh FM.

If his appointment is confirmed, this will be George Amoako’s second time working with the club. His first came back in 2003.
