Ghana FA boss admits he's being undermined

Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Nyantakyi has revealed that there are saboteurs within his administration and says there are undermining his leadership.

Nyantakyi is amazed at how classified information about the body is being leaked to the media.

He suspects members of the Executive Committee or within the Ghana FA as those behind this action.

Nyantakyi laments this development and feels that is a huge challenge.

“You sometimes face some challenges of what you call people trying to undermine you. You go for a meeting and before you step out of the meeting, it’s out there,” Nyantakyi told the World Cup Commission of Inquiry on Thursday.

“I was in London last week and I was so shocked that proceedings of our Executive Committee meetings were played on an FM station in London.

“Who sent it there? It must be a member of the Executive Committee, a staff or somebody who was within the premises of the meeting. It is not a good development.

“I’m talking about it because they (Executive Committee) are here and they all know about it.”

Nyantakyi has been Ghana FA president since 2006 and has expressed his intention to contest for next year’s election.
