Former Hearts of Oak boss Vincent Sowah Odotei has lashed out at the current Ghana FA for being dormant in putting up strategic and competent structures that will generate fresh ideas to make Ghana football attractive.
“The total football structure needs immediate overhauling that will help the efforts that the players and football administrators are pursing to develop Ghana football,” the former King Faisal CEO told Starrfmonline.com.
“It’s the primary responsibility of the GFA to lure the Government in developing youth football. It also depends on the GFA having a good structure to have the capabilities to develop football. No government will like to associate themselves with FAs whose structures are bad and not transparent. The government can only help the GFA in developing football when the Association is transparent.”
According to him, the FA must up its ante to develop colts football to help upcoming coaches develop their game.
Odotei, who is the New Patriotic Party parliamentary candidate for La Dadekotopon constituency, said he is ready to work with the Ghana FA to revive colts and academies if he is voted into power in 2016 elections.
