It was deja vu for reigning champions Ashanti Gold in week 21 of the Ghana Premier League on Saturday.

The Obuasi-based side showed up at the Len Clay Stadium in high spirits, but watched on helplessly as Ebusua Dwarfs picked a point following a 1-1 stalemate.

Mumuni Shafui and Alhaji Mustapha scored for the two sides respectively to make it 13 draws for the Miners this season.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Bright Adjei fetched the only goal as Aduana Stars picked a 1-0 home win over Liberty Professionals at Dormaa.

At the Golden City Park, Berekum Chelsea recorded their ninth victory of the campaign with a 2-1 triumph over New Edubiase. Steven Owusu and Nana Tei-Horsu netted for the home side, while Felix Afriyie notched Edubiase's consolation.

Following the midweek defeat to Inter Allies, Wafa are back to winning ways courtesy of a 2-0 win over Bechem United at the Sogakope Park. Richmond Lamptey scored twice.

Allies, meanwhile, suffered a 2-0 away defeat to Techiman City, Clement Boahen and Isaac Baah finding the back of the net.

Action continued on Sunday when a Richmond Kwadwo Opoku double helped Sekondi Hasaacas to a 2-0 triumph over Dreams.

And finally at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, Asante Kotoko opened the scoring through Kwame Boahen, but Patrick Razak's second half equalizer was enough to win a point for Hearts of Oak.

The Phobians sit three points clear at the top, ahead of second-placed Wa All Stars' outstanding game with Medeama.
