Ghana international Afriyie Acquah has stated that the Black Stars of Ghana can win next month's Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.
Acquah believes the Black Stars have the needed materials to conquer the continent for the first time in 32 years.
“We are hoping to do our best to lift the cup, I think and believe we have what it takes to do just that,” Acquah told Goal Ghana.
“Personally, I think we still need the experience players - Sulley Muntari and Michael Essien - as it will make our team stronger and they also serve us a learning point for some of us because of their huge experience. But everything lies with the coach and the technical team.”
The Parma midfielder also spoke about his future.
“Germany is a very good place I will have wished to go there and play again in the future. This season it’s not all that good for Parma, I am not sure it is due to the players we sold or the sanction from Uefa,” Acquah added.
The 22-year-old enforcer was part of Ghana's World Cup squad in Brazil playing in the last group game against Portugal.
