Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus has been ranked as the second most valuable African player in the world at the end of the 2023/24 football season.

The Black Stars' poster boy joined West Ham United last summer, moving from Dutch giants Ajax after successful seasons in the Dutch Eredivisie, where he established himself as one of the league's best.

At West Ham United, Mohammed Kudus, in his debut season, starred with impressive performances that not only made him a fan favorite but also set him up as one of the most exciting youngsters in the league.

With eight goals and six assists in the English Premier League in his first season, the value of the Ghanaian star has now risen astronomically.

Mohammed Kudus, who was signed for 44.5 million euros last summer, is now valued at 89.6 million euros.

According to the CIES Football Observatory, Mohammed Kudus is the second most valuable African player in the world.

He is surpassed only by Chelsea striker Nicholas, whose value is pegged at 99.3 million euros.
