Enyimba goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has returned to the country after he was handed a one-match ban by the Nigerian League Board for allegedly punching a ball boy.
The Ghanaian international was at the El WAK Sports Stadium on Sunday to watch his former Club Ashanti Gold play Inter-Allies in a League match.
Dauda was in the stands as he watched the miners suffer a 1-0 defeat at the hands of the host.
The 30-year-old was chastised for the supposed assault on the ball boy in Nigeria hence will be out of Enyimba’s next League game.
He is however expected to return to Nigeria within the week to join his teammates.
