The Ghana Football Association (GFA)has said that Ghana Black stars have just arrived in Port Gentile, the team base in Gabon for the 2017 AFCON tournament and contrary to reports have not rejected the training pitch allocated to them.
GFA tweeted this on Sunday morning:

The football federation also clarified that the team has not declined the hotel assigned to them by the Federation of African Football(CAF) where they will stay throughout their stay in Gabon.

Blackstars arrived in Gabon in the early hours of Sunday morning and was welcomed by heartwarming fans and a locol school band in Gabon.
The Blackstars of Ghana play Uganda in the opening game of group D at 4pm local time on Tuesday at Stade de Port Gentil.
