Former Black Stars winger Laryea Kingston says Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Felix Annan, remains one his best goalkeeper on the local scene considering his massive potential in the goal post.
The 22-year-old goalkeeping prodigy has been one of the star performers in this season’s league which earned him a call-up into the senior national team and the home-based national team as well.
Speaking on the Football Legends Night Show on GHONE TV on Friday, Laryea lauded the technical abilities of the Kotoko shot stopper and expects him to be one of Ghana’s safest pair of hands in the future.
“ For me, he (Felix Annan) is the best on the local scene because he starts the game very well. Anytime I watch him he is calm and I also like the fact he is confidence level is very high.
“He can launch quick counter attacks from the back, organize his defense and his passes are accurate. All in all, he is a very good modern goal keeper”, Laryea
said.
Annan is expected to be in between the sticks when Ghana host Burkina Faso in the second leg encounter of the 2018 CHAN qualifiers to be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
