ACCRA, Ghana (PANA) - Ghana on Saturday qualified for the Euro-Africa Zone three tournament when she took an unbeatable 2-0 lead over Andorra in the semi-finals of the Davis Cup Zone Four competition at the Accra Sports Stadium tennis courts.
Frank Ofori beat Jean Baptiste Poux 7-6 (7-3), 6-3 while Gunther Darkey defeated Joan Jimenez 6-2, 6-4.
In the other semi-final singles matches, Mauritius and Algeria were level 1-1 after the singles matches.
Mauritian Jean-Marcel Bougault Du Coudray beat Nourredine Mahmoudi 6-4, 6-1 while Abdelhak Hameurlaine of Algeria defeated Kamil Patel 6-3, 6-1.

In Group B, Algeria beat Cameroon 3-0. Frank Ofori beat Pierre Otolo 7-5, 7-6 (7-3) Gunther Darkey beat Lionel Kamajou 7- 6 (8-2), 7-5 Ofori/Darkey beat Otolo/ Luc Ondobo 6-2, 6-4
In the other match, Mauritius defeated Azerbaijan 2-1. Jean-Marcel Bourgault Du Coudray beat Nidgat Ramazanov 6-2, 6-0 Kamil Patel lost to Emin Agaev 7-6 (8-2), 5-7, 4-6.

In group A, Liechtenstein beat Sudan 2-1. Angreas Schweiger beat Mandour Rushdi Mohammed Abdalla 4-6, 6-3, 7-5. Alex Risch beat Gaffar Elsadig nour Eldin Elsadig 6-2, 6-3. Kenny Ranzer/Wolfgang Strub lost to Gaffar Elsadig Nour Eladin Elsadig/Gaffar nour Eladin Elsadine 1-6, 5-6 (Lietchtenstein names first)
