The Black Sharks, Ghana's national beach soccer team, have secured their spot in the 2024 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations following a convincing victory over Cote d'Ivoire.

With a remarkable 10-5 aggregate score, the Black Sharks demonstrated their strength and skill in both matches.

In the return leg of the fixture held on Saturday, July 27, the Ghanaian team displayed a remarkable comeback, winning 2-5 after previously triumphing 5-3 in the home game in Keta a week earlier.

Despite trailing behind 2-1 at halftime during the second-leg encounter, the Black Sharks staged an impressive comeback in the second half.

Wise Nyamadi scored the equaliser after the break, boosting the team's morale. Captain Alex Osah and Precious Torgbor added to the scoreline, making it 4-2 in favour of Ghana.

The icing on the cake came with Jude Akile's fifth goal, securing a decisive victory and ensuring that the game was out of reach for the Ivorian team, known as the Sand Elephants.

The Black Sharks' dominant performance has earned them a well-deserved place in the Africa Cup of Nations, where they will represent Ghana and strive for further success on the continental stage.
