Ghana’s ‘Kaka’ voted best player in America

Black Princesses young star Jennifer Cudjoe has been named the Region 2 National Junior College Athlete Association’s Best Player of the Year 2014 in America.

The Ghana Under-20 female soccer team’s attacking midfielder won the prestigious award after an excellent performance for the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in the region championship, scoring 18 goals with nine assists.

“Getting this award is a massive honour because when the season started that was my target. It’s great to win it and I am delighted,” an excited Cudjoe, affectionately called ‘Kaka’, told Goal Ghana.

“I always try my best for the team and it is nice to get awards but really this is for my team-mates and the staff at Neo because without their help I wouldn't have this prize. This is for my team-mates and staff and for my sisters and family,” the Ghanaian added.

Cudjoe is a sister of Black Queens’ star player Elizabeth Cudjoe.
