Ghana's Lartey to fight McIlroy in a Championship bout

Daniel Lartey, Ghanaian Welterweight boxer, will fight British boxer, George McIlroy in a Professional Boxing Council (PBC) World Championship Boxing contest, on July 27 in the United Kingdom.

The Championship bout scheduled to take place at the Ardeer Center in United Kingdom, would see the two boxers slug it out for a chance to lay claim on the title.

Lartey, has 14 bouts in his career with 12 knockouts to his credit with only two losses recorded.

He was ruthless in his last bout back in April as he demolished George Amuzu at the Aborigenes Beach Resort.

Mcllroy on the other hand, a 35-year old boxer, but had been out of the ring for many years and would making a return to the ring against the Ghanaian.

The British boxer has fought only seven times, in his career and has won six times and losing once in the process and has recorded only three knockouts.

Latey, would be accompanied to Glassgow by two members of his camp; Jonathan Mac-Essel and Johnson Evans Beene.
