The home team opened the scoring through Simon Gustafson 22 minutes into the game, but Elfsborg swiftly responded with an equalizer through Sebastian Holmén in the 26th minute.

Before the break, the hosts restored their lead through Valgeir Lunddal Fridriksson. Hacken went into halftime with a 2-1 advantage.

After the break, Yegbe stepped up and leveled the score for his team in the 48th minute after being set up by Gustav Henriksson.
