Ghana Football Association are in search of new opponents to face the Black Stars in a friendly match ahead of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations which kicks off on January 14 in Gabon, Goal understands.
Avram Grant announced his 23-man squad for the tournament on Wednesday, with his charges expected to play Morocco this weekend in Dubai, since both teams are currently preparing for the Afcon in the Gulf region and staying at the same hotel.
The Royal Federation of Morocco Football eventually pulled out of the arrangement due to the short notice given them by Ghana FA, according to reports.
The Atlas Lions also cancelled their friendly with Iran but will play Finland on Monday and another unnamed opponent on Wednesday before departing for Gabon.
Ghana are paired with Egypt, Uganda and Mali in Group D.
The Black Stars were runners-up at the 2015 Afcon and will open their campaign in Gabon against Uganda on January 17 in Port-Gentil.
