Ghana's group very open as Black Stars still lead

The outcome of the penultimate fixtures in Group E for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations has thrown the group wide open.

Saturday's round of defeats to Ghana and Togo by Uganda and Guinea hands every side with a real chance of qualifying ahead of the final round of matches on Wednesday.

Ghana, who needed a win to secure their place in the finals suffered a 1-0 loss to Uganda and the defeat was the first for the Black Stars in the qualifying campaign.

Guinea managed a 4-1 victory over Togo in the other fixture.

All four teams - Ghana 8pts, Uganda 7pts, Guinea 7pts and Togo 6pts - stand an equal chance of qualifying for next year's tournament.

The Black Stars play Togo at home while Uganda travel to meet Guinea in the final round of qualifying matches.
