Local Organizing Committee chairperson for the Africa Women Cup of Nations Freda Prempeh says the country is serious about hosting the tournament this November.
Ghana's fate as hosts is in a balance after reports that CAF has suspended the West African country from organizing the flagship women's tournament.
Last month, CAF stated a final decision will be taken next month when a meeting of the tournament's organising committee is held in the Egyptian capital Cairo after receiving inspection visit reports.
Madam Prempeh has assured all and sundry that all venues will be ready and logistics secured for the tournament.
''The Cape coast stadium and Accra sports stadium will be ready in two weeks and we will have the draw in Ghana, All efforts to host the seven participating countries and make them comfortable is done especially transportation. We are very serious about hosting the 2018 AWCON,'' she said on Asempa FM.
