Ghana’s Thomas Boakye scored for Varbergs BoIS FC as they thrashed GAIS 7-1 in the Swedish second-tier league on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old midfielder scored his fourth goal of the season as Varbergs moved up to third position on the Superettan league table.

The former right to Dream academy youngster is the leading top scorer for his side with four goals in eight appearances for the Swedish side.
