Spartak Moscow striker Abdul Majeed Waris believes Ghana have what it takes to excel at next year's Fifa World Cup, but admits the Black Stars find themselves in a tough group.
The 22-year-old striker who played a key role in Ghana's qualification is buoyant about the team’s qualification from the group stage.
"We can definitely make it out of the group stage, we have a good squad and we can equally match any team we meet," Waris told Goal Ghana. “All we need is just to stay focus and believe in ourselves and the job will be done.”
The former Right to Dream Academy and Hacken BK forward scored four times in the qualifiers as Ghana reached the Mundial for the third time in a row.
