Veteran Ghanaian coach JE Sarpong is predicting doom for Asante Kotoko in the second half of the season following the shocking 'mass exodus' of players from the team.
The Ghanaian giants have been in the news for all the wrong reasons after sacking four top stars and transfer-list several others without a justifiable reason.
Top marksman Sadick Adams and defender Seth Opare have been put on the transfer-list while striker Yakubu Mohammed and defender Edwin Tuffuor have been sacked.
Frank Sarfo Gyamfi and Eric Donkor have also been sensationally put on ice - a decision which has ruffled feathers in Kumasi.
Adams,a former Ghana youth star joined the Porcupine Warriors with a huge reputation but issues off the-field has accounted for his exit from the club.
The timing of the exit of the key players has thrown the future of the club into further turmoil amid fears it could come back to hunt the club.
And experienced Ghanaian coach JE Sarpong is predicting looming danger for the biggest local club.
"I can foresee doom for Kotoko this season. I can see a big problem for the team in the second round," he told Asempa FM
"There are some players who feel untouchable and if you touch them, you touch more than him. He has friends and they will sabotage you.
"It' a group. And so when you touch one player, you touch several others. They can sabotage you."
It's unclear the direction of the club after the bold decision to dispense with the services of the high-profile players.
