Ghanaian attacker Prince Osei-Owusu scored a crucial goal for Toronto Football Club on Sunday, September 29, 2024, as the team drew 1-1 with Chicago Fire in the Major League Soccer (MLS).

The forward started for his team as the arrowhead, leading the attack in the tough away fixture.

In a game played at Soldier Field, both teams created several chances in the first half, but only one goal was scored.

Prince-Osei Owusu converted a penalty awarded to Toronto FC in added time to send the visitors into the break with a narrow lead.

While the away side would continue to play well in the second half, the team could not hold on to amass all three points.

A fightback from the Chicago Fire saw the team pulling parity in the 88th minute thanks to an equalizer from Jonathan Dean.

Eventually, both teams had to settle for the draw to pick a point each.

After his latest goal, Ghana’s Prince-Osei Owusu has eight goals after making 28 appearances in the MLS this season.
