Ghanaian youngster, Edwin Danquah, has completed his move from Dutch side De Graafschap to Excelsior Rotterdam.
The 20-year-old goalkeeper has made a massive upward move in his career, signing a one-year deal with Excelsior Rotterdam, who until recently played in the Dutch Eredivisie.
It is expected that Edwin Danquah, who fits the description of a modern-day goalkeeper, will be joining the U-21 squad of Rotterdam and depending on his performance, will get a look-in at the first-team level.
The move is believed to be a great one for Danquah as it provides a clear pathway for him into the first-team squad, where his incredible goalkeeping talents will be showcased to the world.
Edwin Danquah is a two-footed goalie who is as good with his hands as he is with his feet.
The 20-year-old has not hidden his love for Ghana, consistently expressing readiness to wear the colors of the country if called upon.
In a previous interview with GhanaWeb, Edwin Danquah noted that he will honor a call-up by the Ghana Football Association to play for the country’s youth teams and that a lifelong dream of his is to play for the Black Stars.
