Ghanaian midfielder Clifford Aboagye will not extend his loan deal with Querétaro FC when it expires on June 30, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.

The 25-year-old pocket-size enforcer joined the Mexican top-flight side on a season long loan from Atlas FC.

The former Ghana Under-20 star joined the side with an option to sign a permanent deal.

But GHANAsoccernet.com can report that the midfielder will not exercise that buy out option and will leave the club by the end of this month.

Aboagye has impressed heavily during the loan spell, scoring a goal in 33 matches.

After being awarded with the Bronze Ball at the FIFA U20 World Cup in 2013, Aboagye moved from Inter Allies FC to Italian side Udinese Calcio.

He later joined Spanish side Granada FC in the 2013/2014 season after spending only a season in Italy.

Aboagye was then loaned to Atlas FC after two seasons with Granada FC.

Having had an impressive spell in his first season, his move to Mexico was made permanent in 2017/2018 campaign.
