Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Boateng has emerged as a transfer target for English Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report.

Boateng joined Israeli side Hapoel Tel Aviv from Ghana Premier League giants Aduana Stars in 2018.

The 22-year-old has been a mainstay in the Red Demons team this season, making 22 appearances in all competitions and scoring two goals and providing three assists.

Reports reaching GHANASoccernet.com from Israel indicate that English club Wolverhampton Wanderers have made contact with Hapoel Tel Aviv over the possibility of snapping up the youngster.

But further report suggests that the move could be scuppered by work permit as he is not an established international.

Boateng meanwhile could facing a spell on the sidelines after suffering an injury in the club's goalless draw with rivals Hapoel Beer Sheva FC on Saturday.

Hapoel Tel Aviv have the option to extend his contract for another two years.
