Ghanaian sensation Raymond Asante was the hero of the day as Udinese Primavera secured a hard-fought 2-2 (3-2 on penalties) victory over Napoli Primavera in the Primavera 2 promotion playoffs quarterfinals on Saturday afternoon.

The match began with Napoli U-19's taking an early lead in the 17th minute, courtesy of a well-taken goal by Gianluca Vigliotti. However, Asante's determination and skill came to the fore in the second half, as he single-handedly turned the game in Udinese's favour.

In the 62nd minute, Asante displayed his attacking instincts, pouncing on a loose ball inside the box to pull one back for Udinese U-19s. The youngster was not content with just one goal, as he netted his second and Udinese's equalizer just four minutes later.

Napoli U-19 refused to give up and managed to level the scores once again in the 74th minute through Francesco Gioielli. The match remained deadlocked after extra time, leading to a tense penalty shootout.

Udinese Primavera goalkeeper emerged as the star of the shootout, making crucial saves to help his side secure a 3-2 victory. With this win, Udinese Primavera advances to the next round of the playoffs.
