Ghanaian quartet Solomon Asante, Yaw Frimpong, Richard Kissi Boateng and Daniel Nii Adjei will once again be playing in the finals of the CAF Confederation Cup competition after eliminating Tunisian Club Étoile Sportive du Sahel.
Solomon Asante and Daniel Nii Adjei were involve in Mazembe’s 0-0 stalemate with the Tunisian Club at the Stade TP Mazembe in Lubumbashi over the weekend, a result which qualified them to the finals of the continental competition after drawing 1-1 in the first leg match played in Tunisia.
The players are close in winning another silverware in Africa with the Congolese giants.
TP Mazembe will now face Algerian outfit Mouloudia Olympique Bejaia in the finals of the CAF Confederations Cup.
