Ghanaian referees to officiate in Abidjan on Sunday

Accra, July 5, GNA - Ghana's ace referee Alex Quartey leads two other compatriots to Cote D'Ivoire on Saturday to officiate in the Champions League Group A match between Africa Sport and defending champions Enyimba of Nigeria.

A Statement issued by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and copied to the GNA Sports on Monday named the two Ghanaians assistant referees as Justice Yeboah and Nicholas Djomor.

The fourth referee is Yao Kossonou of Cote D'Ivoire; Godfried Ekue from Togo is the match commissioner while Abel Mbengue from Cameroon will be the coordinator.

Referee Hailemelak Tessema of Ethiopia will be in the middle as Bakili Bullets of Malawi host E. S. S of Tunisia in another group A encounter also on Saturday.

Familiar face Lim Kee Chong of Mauritius will handle the Supersport of South Africa versus E. S. T of Tunisia while Evehe D. Raphael of Cameroon will be in the centre when Jeanne d'Arc of Senegal welcome USMA of Algeria in Group B matches on Sunday.
