Ghanaian teenager Francis Gyimah has completed a move to English Championship side Stoke City during the ongoing transfer window.

The English-born Ghanaian, who departed from giants Liverpool this summer, has found a new home and is expected to continue his development at the club.

Gyimah signed professional terms with Stoke City and will feature for the U23 team in Premier League 2 in the new season.

Academy Director of Stoke City, Gareth Owen, explaining the acquisition of the Ghanaian youngster, said, "Francis spent the latter part of the season with us following an agreement with Liverpool."

"He's an athletic left-back, who comes highly recommended and with an enormous amount of potential."

"Left-backs with his physical output, who can defend and attack, are in short supply in professional football, so we are delighted he has joined us."

The 17-year-old left-back has shown glimpses of good performance and has been tipped to attain greater heights in his football career.

Gyimah is a future Black Stars asset, as he holds Ghanaian parentage.

This move marks an exciting milestone in Gyimah's career, and fans will be eager to see him in action for Stoke City and potentially the Ghana national team in the future.
