Black stars striker Asamoah Gyan has accused Ghanaians of highlighting his failures more than his achievements during his 17-year stint with the senior national team.
Today marks exactly 10 years since his infamous penalty miss against Uruguay in the 2010 World Cup which was hosted in South Africa.
The images of the game that could’ve potentially taken Ghana and Africa to its first Semi-finals spot in World Cup history still haunts the majority of Ghanaians who have taken to social media to relive the memories.
Gyan responded with an interesting tweet on his official page;
“We celebrate failure more than achievements. Me di333 I dey my corner dey enjoy myself. My family is very proud me. That’s what matters to me the most.
