Aidoo’s 71st minute goal in a match against VFL Wolfsburg sealed victory for struggling Monchengladbach.
Monchengladbach went into the match from a streak of four losses but Lawrence Aidoo’s goal confirmed that clubs status as a Bundesliga candidate for next season. His team now lies 15th from the bottom on the 18th league table.

ITALY: Seria A
Roma disappointed once again and were held to a 0-0 draw by Brescia. Stephen Appiah is back from injury and played the full 90 minutes. There were no shortage of chances in this match, however both squads were unable to find the elusive goal that would have won it.
The draw should make Brescia happy. They remain in 11th place on 24 points yet they pick up an important point that could be pivotal in their bid to stay in Serie A, though point or not they look too good for the drop.

Fenerbah?e 2-0 Gaziantepspor
Fenerbahce got two first-half goals from Samuel Johnson and Danli to defeat Gaziantespor at home. It was a hard-fought match pitting two of the league's top teams against each other. The win keeps Fener in fourth place, while Gaziantepspor falls to 6th place with the loss, having been leap-frogged by Trabzonspor who won this weekend.
Johnson is known for his aerial abilities, but not for his long range shots, especially with his left foot. Yet the midfielder from Ghana made no mistake in shooting a 22 meter goal, that goalkeeper ?mer could hardly see.
