The Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Football Association, Ibrahim Sannie Darra has urged all Ghanaians to forget about the fiction between the Football Association and the Ministry of the Youth and Sports.

The Black Stars takes on the Cranes of Uganda in the FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifiers at the Temale Sports Stadium today.

There has been a rough relationship between the FA and the Ministry of Youth and Sports since the appointment of Nii Lante Vanderpuye. Ahead of this gigantic clash with the Cranes of Uganda, it was reported that the GFA sent a blank budget to the ministry of the youth and sports asking the minister to draw the budget for the clash against Uganda and Egypt due to he wrong perception about the FA but Sannie Darra has urged Ghanaians to forget about any fiction and rally behind the team.

“The minister met the players and as it stands we don’t know what the minister told the players.” Sannie told Asempa FM when he was quizzed if the minister has met the players.

“There are some disagreements between the FA and the Ministry but let all unite and rally behind the team because the players are ready for the match but I will urge all Ghanaians to forget about any fiction between the FA and the Ministry because everything is claim here.

“I have to admit that playing against Uganda is not going to be an easy match because their coach is very good and have monitored the Black Stars very well but we also monitored their team whiles they were in Togo but I am very sure that Ghana is going to win today.”
