Arteta revealed Partey's medical condition during a pre-match conference when he gave an update on the fitness of some of his injured players ahead of the game.

He stated that Partey "is fit and ready to play" when asked about the situation of the Ghanaian after he missed Ghana's games against Sudan during the international break.

While some Ghanaians are disappointed, Arsenal fans are excited about the news as they believe his availability is significant for their title charge.
