Some Ghanaians have expressed their disappointment over the exclusion of Mohammed Kudus in the Premier League Awards for the 2023/24 season.
As the Premier League unveiled its list of nominees for the end-of-season awards on May 9, 2024, the omission of Kudus, despite his dazzling debut season, left many questioning the criteria for selection.
With a total of 12 goal contributions, including 7 goals and 5 assists, Kudus has not only made a mark but also etched his name into the record books as the first player to complete over 100 successful dribbles in the league.
Following Kudus' snub, some Ghanaians have expressed their disappointment on social media platforms.
This season’s Premier League Young Player of the Year nominees include Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, Alexander Isak, Kobbie Mainoo, Cole Palmer, Bukayo Saka, William Saliba, and Destiny Udogie.
Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has been nominated for Premier League Player of the Season alongside Arsenal midfielders Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice.
Chelsea forward Cole Palmer, Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, Aston Villa forward Ollie Watkins, and Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk complete the shortlist.
The Premier League Board is expected to announce the winners on May 18.

Not sure how Mainoo has been nominated. Gordon, Branthwaite, Kudus, Van De Den, Porro all deserve to be nominated over Mainoo.
