God will bring back Nyantakyi and make him FIFA President - Kojo Yankah

Former GFA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi Former GFA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi

A member of the Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association and close ally of beleaguered former President of the GFA, Kojo Yankah is confident Kwesi Nyantakyi will escape from the clutches of the law and make a remarkable comeback into football administration.

Kwesi Nyantakyi who is currently a subject of investigations by the Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service relinquished his role as President of the GFA after he was captured in an undercover investigation conducted by the TigerEye receiving ‘bribes’ from undercover agents who posed as businessmen from Saudi Arabia.

The Former FIFA Executive Council member was also caught on camera plotting to fleece Ghanaian clubs in a sponsorship deal offered by Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his team.

But Kojo Yankah, who is known for his ridiculous defence of the embattled lawyer posits that the evidence found by the ace investigator is not enough to incriminate Nyantakyi and that he (Nyantakyi) will survive these challenges and make his way back into football administration.

"There was nothing criminal in the video they showed, the money he was seen stuffing was not a bribe but his own money so there's nothing disgracing in the that video. I believe and trust the God I serve that, Nyantakyi will bounce back stronger and he will even rise to the level of becoming the President of FIFA." Mark my words he added.
In a related development, spokesperson of the former GFA President, Dr Martin Luther Obeng has revealed his intentions of embarking on a one-man demonstration against FIFA over the suspension of his client.

Speaking on Accra-based Asempa FM, Dr Obeng said, “Anas is not an honest person. Initially he said he collaborated with the BBC to do this project; now the BBC have denied that they jointly own the documentary. This is one of many untruths that Anas has said. So we are saying he is not an upright person and thus his work cannot be trusted. Look, in the coming days I will stage a one-man demonstration at FIFA headquarters and protest the 90-day suspension of Mr Nyantakyi.”
