Godfred Saka’s impending move to Nigeria Professional Premier League side Enyimba have hit a snag.

The right-back arrived in the West African country to finalize a deal with the former Nigerian Champions.

Sources reveal the defender could not secure a contract after breakdown in negotiation.

Saka will thus return to Ghana to sort out his future with Aduana Stars after initially refusing a contract extension with the Ghanaian Champions.

After almost a decade playing for the Dormaa Club, the defender decided to seek a new challenge elsewhere by refusing to extend his stay with the modest Club.

Coach Yusif Abubakar would need his services as the Club embarks for the CAF Champions League next year.

Having joined Aduana Stars in 2009 from the Red Bull Soccer Academy, the enterprising full-back has been able to win two League titles in eight years.

He also won the GHALCA G6 tournament with the Club prior to the start of the 2016/17 season.
