Bankroller of Attram De’ Visser Soccer Academy, Godwin Attram has threatened to withdraw Christopher Nettey from Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko after failing to agree terms that will complete the the transfer process.
The 21-year-old, who joined the Porcupine Warriors on a three year conditional contract from the lower-tier side at the beginning of the season has been one of the best performers at the club so far.
Nettey has featured in all nine games in the on-going 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.
However, according to reports, Attram has rejected Kotoko’s transfer fee for the highly-rated right-back saying the club should pay all the amount stipulated in the contract. He has threatened to truncate the deal should existing terms be ditched.
According to him, the Boy’s value was $40,000 but he accepted $35,000 due to his relationship with Maxwell Konadu, so anything less than that will see the player return to his former club.
” Nettey value is $40k but I accepted $35k due to my relationship with Maxwell konadu. What they are quoting is not truth.”
“I will talk at the right time. You can ask the Kotoko people, when the time is right I will come out but they should know that the player had gotten exposure before he joined Kotoko, he traveled outside which earned him a national team call-up.”
“I might be tempted to recall my player when the need arises” he dared.
