Obuasi : Obuasi Goldfields put behind their defeat last Saturday to clinch a 2-0 win over visiting Tano Bofoakwa in their match played at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.

In the 20th minute, goalkeeper Eric Amposah gave the minners a gift goal. He pushed a long drive from Michael Ofori of Goldfields onto the path of striker Nana Arhin Duah to tap into the net.
Inspired by the goal, Goldfields made incessant raids but inside left Abdul Sylla threw away two scoring chances in the 29th and 36th minutes.
Substitute Aminu Mensah sealed the doom of the visitors with a 77th-minute goal.
