Division One League board chairman Owuahene Acheampong has defended Black Stars coach Avram Grant’s decision to spend time in Europe than in Ghana monitoring budding talents.
“Touching on Avram Grant, I don’t think he can be everywhere at the same time,” Owuahene said in an interview.
“ So, I expect a system of monitoring to be put in place by the GFA to recognize certain quality players in the Premier League and lower leagues”
Per the contract of the 60-year-old he is expected to monitor the Ghanaian league and also play an advisory role to the various national teams.
But in defense Owuahene says the coach can only watch a match or two every week.
