Saif Rubie, the agent of Black Stars Coach Avram Grant, has taken to Twitter to mock Ghana FA Communications Director Ibrahim Sannie Darra for describing Peace FM journalist Dan Kweku Yeboah as going bonkers live on air.
The ex-BBC sports broadcaster told Mr. Kweku Yeboah on the Peace FM Morning Show Kokrokoo on Friday, that he is going bonkers after he was asked to explain the expenditure of the FA on the Black Stars before and after the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
When asked by the Morning Show host Kwame Sefa Kayi whether he understood the word bonkers, Sannie Darra said it meant “going overboard” but he was then informed that according to the English Dictionary, it meant crazy or mad.
“Even I wouldn’t call the Ghanaian media bonkers even though they don’t really know what they’re writing about half the time lol #bbc #ghana,” Saif Rubie tweeted on Friday.
Sannie Darra had earlier stated on the same show that anyone whose aim is to destroy the Black Stars is a witch. This was his reaction to journalists who were criticizing the Grand Cherokee Jeep donation to the Black Stars from Tanink Ghana Limited.
