Cape Coast, Jan 25, GNA - The home invincibility of Oguaa United was broken on Wednesday when they were beaten 2-1 by their local rivals, Adisadel Great Astronomers in their outstanding league match played at the Robert Mensah stadium at Cape Coast.
Astronomers who indicated their determination to carry the day, took an early lead through centre half, Joseph Cecil Acquah when he netted the match opener in the 10th minute.
Oguaa United fought back gamely and leveled up the scores in the 35th minute through Albert Mensah Annan.
The second half became a balanced affair with the ball swinging from one end to the other but Astronomers came on top when they capitalized on a defensive lapse of the Oguaa lads to score the match winner through centre half, Fatawu Kassim in the dying minutes of the match.
