Great Breman United beat Dominase Stars

Breman Asikuma (C/R) Dec. 6 GNA - Great Breman United played a good game to beat Abeadze Dominase Ewusi Stars 2-1 in their Central Region Division Two League match played at Breman Asikuma on Sunday. It was Ewusi Stars who dictated the pace of the game right from the start of the game and scored the opener through left half back, Daniel Tackie in the 20th minute and hanged on it till the end of the first half.

Both sides resumed the second half strongly but Breman United took over when they had the edge in the attack and scored the equalizer in the 61st minute through centre half Godfried Arhin.

The game from then became balanced until outside left Paul Otoo of United scored the match winner in the 70th minute terrific shot to the blind side of the goalie.

The results of other matches were, Winneba C.K. Gyamfi Academy trounced Awutu Parmajet 7-1, Awutu Bereku Bastia F/C drew 0-0 with Ojobi Kaakyire Stars, Assin Foso Golden Boys also drew 1-1 against Dunkwa On-Offin United and Denkyira Akropong Benburto beat Assin Akropong Santos 2-0. In another development, Odomankomba whipped Schalke O4 5-1 in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem District Under 17 Colts League match played at the Mfantsipim Secondary School sports ground on Sunday. Friends Babies spanked Liberty 3-0, Wise beat Rainbow 3-0, Mighty Warriors lost 0-3 to Great Halifax 3 and Astronomers beat King Karmel 2-1.
