Chief Executive Officer of Accra Great Olympics, Oluboi Commodore has denied reports going round in the media that his outfit have named Emmanuel Clottey as the club’s new captain.

There were stories in the media circles that former Asante Kotoko striker Emmanuel Clottey has been named the new captain for the side after he wore the armband in the friendly against Attram De Visser Academy.

But in an interview with kumasi based Fox FM, Oluboi swiftly denied the report and insisted no decision has been taken on the captaincy of the club.

“We have not done anything like that , so if you have heard something like that it’s not correct”.

Clottey re-joined the ‘Oly Dade’ lads as a free agent few weeks ago after leaving Cafetaleros de Biscucuy.

He is expected to use his vast experience to help Great Olympics in the 2019/20 league season which is expected to be start on December 28.
