Great Olympics to drag David Duncan to GFA Status Committee

Great Olympics General Manager, Oloboi Commodore has revealed that the Teshie-based club is preparing to report Coach David Duncan for absenting himself from pre-season training to the Ghana FA Ethics Committee.

Coach David Duncan, who signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Olympics, has not turned up at the Wonder club’s training grounds since December 19, 2014.

According to the Agosu club, Coach David Duncan insists he does not want to sign a permanent deal with the club because he is planning to embark on a coaching course in the USA later this year.

“We signed an MOU. We have played our part and he has played his part so there is a supposed contract,” Mr. Commodore told Accra-based radio station Happy FM.

“If the Directors agree that we have a case, then we will present it before the GFA Ethics Committee because the ordinary law court will take too long to decide the case,” he added.

It is unclear whether Coach Samuel Quaye will lead Great Olympics when the club opens its 2015 Premier League campaign against AshantiGold SC at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
