Standard Liege are set to beat West Ham and Liverpool to the signing of Real Madrid B team starlet Daniel Opare.

The Belgian club are reportedly close to completing a deal with the Spanish giants to take the 19-year-old next season.

Wolfsburg, PSV Eindhoven and Club Brugge were all interested in the full-back or midfield player, who spent most of last season on loan at Bursaspor in Turkey.
