Accra, July 20, GNA - Hostac Handball Club beat Future Stars by 18 goals to 17 at the Azumah Nelson Sports Complex in a national handball league match.
Future Stars showed a lot of promise in the first half and led by 10 goals to nine at the interval.
In the second half, Reginald Bannor, Akushe Okine and Philip Plange combined beautifully to feed skipper Nii Amu Ankrah and Kofi Bansah with useful balls which changed the advantage in favour of Hostac. In the other league matches played, Kpando Young Hands lost by 13-22 to Police Service, while Fire Service spanked Old hands 26-11. The competition continues tomorrow with Asomdwe playing host to Fire Academy, while Police Service lock horns with Old hands at the Azumah Nelson Sports Complex on Saturday.
The final fixture will be an encounter between Kpando Young Hands and Future Stars billed for the Kpando Sports Stadium on Saturday.
