Hapoel Tel Aviv attacker Emmanuel Boateng picked up an injury on Saturday while in action for the club in their league encounter against Hapoel Bas Turner.

The Ghanaian international is one of the key players for his team and was called into action on the matchday to help the side fight for the available 3 points.

He impressed in the first half but picked up an injury in the second half which forced him to be substituted on the 74th minute.

The forward crushed and hurt his rib and had to make way for Doron Leidne. The match eventually ended goalless with both teams going home with a point apiece.

With some other players injured in the team injured, Hapoel Tel Aviv manager Nir Klinger believes fatigue is the main factor with teams playing 3 matches in the space of 8 days at times.

"I think the players put tremendous effort and good deference to them.
